The Hotel Regency in Florence, a beautiful 5-star hotel, proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World is on the lookout for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for its fine dining restaurant Relais Le Jardin.

The restaurant prides itself on delivering an unforgettable dining experience and is committed to culinary excellence.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Restaurant Manager. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, overseeing customer service, communicating effectively, and managing food and beverage operations on a daily basis.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably at least 2 years of professional experience on similar position in a upper upscale hotel
- Proven management experience
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- High leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team and achieve high level of performance and quality
- Ability to manage conflict/resolution
- Be flexible with work schedule
- Required languages: Italian, English

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily operations in cooperation with the Restaurant Manager
- Food & Beverage operations expertise
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
- Manage cost controls
- Supervise policy and procedures implementation
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Plan and manage day to day operations of the Restaurant Dept
- Be environmentally aware
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
