**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze and interpret experimental results effectively to contribute to the development of new and improved product platforms.
- Work closely with global partners to understand the market needs and how to incorporate these needs into new product platforms.
- Work in conjunction with R&D and/or other functions located around the globe on the development of new product platforms.
- Build and growth a deep fundamental formulation understanding.
- Maintain project information up to date in Compass and ensure timelines are realistic and adhered to.
- Build and maintain a network with commercial and technical teams in all regions to communicate progress on projects and understand future needs.
- Maintain and communicate results through written and verbal summaries, coatings reports and gate review updates.

**Qualifications**:

- A formal degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering or equivalent scientific degree. PHD 5+ years or MS/ 10+ years of coatings development experience and demonstrated record of accomplishment.
- Proven track record of leading successful coating's innovations from idea inception to commercialization; including experience with pilot and scale up.
- Ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple partners
- Proven learning experience with experimental design (DOE) and sophisticated problem solving.
- Very good cross-cultural communication with a strong desire to work with global teams.
- English: Full professional proficiency
- Flexibility to travel up to 10%.
