**Head of Events**:
JOB MISSION

Reporting to the Hair Care Global Education and Events Director the role will contribute to inspire through unforgettable experiences, nourishing the Community’s sense of belonging and supporting our Brand Equity. Building, maintaining and inspire the International Events functional excellence worldwide, through the coordination of a trained, motivated team in line with the Company's values.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People management and coaching
Contribute to implement people strategies for the Int. business in partnership with HR
Coach, support and develop excellent teams, working alongside the team members
Facilitate cross-functional teams’ integration, communication and collaboration to cultivate what keeps Davines unique, and for the ultimate benefit of our Community

Business Management and development
Contribute to the implementation of the worldwide Hair Care Division Strategy, plans and measurement system

Events
Maintain the highest quality of international events
Create unique experiences that tell the story of the Company and unforgettable moments for our Community, in line with our Values
Contribute to the development and ensure the implementation of Events’ strategies for Davines, working closely with Global Education and Marketing functions

Interpret and translate the needs of the Education, CS&P, Marketing, HR Departments and all other organizational areas that use internal and external Events as a lever to achieve their business goals

Planning and Financial Management
Plan, manage and monitor Events budget

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of experience in developing events content and support tools
Facilitating Team development and sense of community, also through skills and knowledge sharing
Engaging Teams in a shared Community spirit and in aligning based on Davines culture
Ability to establish a high level of commitment towards deliverables to be achieved
Passionate and energetic attitude, while keeping the focus on objectives and goals
Ability to generate innovative ideas and projects, encouraging the team to experiment new things
Knowledge of competitive products/markets along with best sales practices (strong commercial sensitivity and awareness)
2+ years of experience in leading teams, and passionate for coaching people
Must possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
Self-Motivated and ability to take initiative
Creative thinker; detail-oriented and multi-tasker
English is a must; working knowledge of Italian will be an asset
