**Your responsibilities and tasks**:

- Develop and drive procurement activities for the BU Homogenizers
- Secure availability of resources and materials
- Achieve the required performance targets in terms of cost, quality (including certification, origin etc.) and delivery time
- Synchronize the requirements of the customer with the flow of materials from suppliers in order to achieve a balance between, high delivery performances, low working capital, quality and low spend.
- Ensure compliance to GEA procurement guidelines
- Manage and coordinate key suppliers, contracts, assess supplier quality, secure priorities, availability of products and materials
- Define pricing and contractual conditions, negotiate discounts and define terms of payment with suppliers safeguarding KPI targets of BU Homogenizer
- Set and control holistic (considering the TCO) saving targets through procurement for the entire organization
- Track and evaluate the impact from cost reduction projects,
- Ensure spend and savings reporting according to Global Procurement and Supply standards
- Implement global procurement initiatives in consultation with head of production and supply chain safeguarding BU Homogenizers Budgets and mid
- and long-term objectives

**Your profile and qualifications**:

- University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Seasoned procurement professional with significant experience in running an end-to-end organization with a strong focus on integration of businesses and improving cost and performance efficiency
- Industrial background within a larger global professional organization with a strong emphasis on engineering excellence and innovation
- Deep practical know-how of state-of-the-art process organization methods and improvement tools
- Experience in leading significant change management processes at an international scale
- In-depth understanding of the strategic role procurement play within a manufacturing organization
- Profound leadership skills, ability to lead & develop internationally and/or culturally diverse teams, systematically evaluate team performance
- Strong entrepreneurial competencies
- Personal drive and a good balance between being a hands-on manager and the ability to think and act strategically
- Track record of having good business sense and judgment in making decisions
- Intercultural experience and skills
- Ability of influencing the team and all parts of the organization by power of persuasion, conviction and as well as by well-argued reasoning
- Strong communicator, good net-worker and a well-respected manager
- Strong negotiation skills
