**Job overview**:
The English International School of Padova seeks to employ the services of a General Science and Physics teacher for our secondary school. We are looking for a motivated and committed teacher with the ability to teach in all three key stages. Our Middle School follows a largely UK-based Key Stage 3 program of study. In High School, we offer Cambridge IGCSEs and the IB diploma. A degree and appropriate teaching qualification are essential, but both experienced and new entrants to the profession are welcome to apply.

A professional with the desire to be involved in general science and physics teaching at the secondary school level including IB.

A teacher who can deliver engaging General Science and Physics lessons aligned with the key stage 3 program, Cambridge IGCSE and IB.

A teacher who can differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and adapt based on assessments.

A professional who can promote inquiry and collaborative problem-solving in a hands-on, interactive environment.

A teacher who can guide students in developing practical skills through experiments and activities.

A professional who can incorporate technology and varied teaching methods to enhance engagement and learning.

A teacher who can assess progress using formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback.

Someone willing to engage in professional development to stay updated with advancements in science education.
- Experience in teaching either A levels or IBDP - desirable but not essential
- Passion for science and fostering critical thinking in students
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative teaching approach with attention to detail
- A commitment to student welfare and safeguarding practices
- Proficiency in English and innovative teaching methods.
