New Business Development Manager

**Summary**:
**Essential Functions**:
- Drive innovation and strategically expand product portfolio.
- Exchange technological information, test critical assumptions and educate customers during visits.
- Channel customer feedback into holistic evaluation of unmet needs, buying process analysis, critical to quality metrics, value chain analysis, equivalent value modeling and time-to-market analysis.
- Support key milestone decisions in product development through close collaboration with research and development.
- Define and enable market activation plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to demonstrate material value proposition.
- Support the New Business Development (NBD) and Marketing organization in the achievement of shared objectives like e.g. growth initiatives, annual operating plan and strategic plan goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Master of Science Degree in Engineering or Physics.
- Demonstrated technical capability in Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in customer facing role with increasing scope of responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in presenting to and interacting with customers and stakeholders.
- Travel: Up to 50%.
