In our Process Automation Business Area, in Energy Industries division, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer, who will lead the execution of small/medium size service projects and Maintenance Contracts in order to ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Project leadership: Lead the project team allocated to the project (functional lead). Motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Be the facilitator between all different internal functions involved, to assure a smooth progress. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and communicate effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Project execution and control: Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitor and control project financials (project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow). Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risk, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project. Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer.
- Contract and claims: Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with contractual agreements. Be oriented to increase Contract scope, working in cooperation with the Sales department, by proposing to Customer added value services / systems.
- Procurement Management: Coordinate with Supply Chain Management and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
- Stakeholder relations: Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
- Health, safety, and environment (HSE): Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies. Create project HSE Plans and ensure that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including collaboration/consortium partners and sub-suppliers. Demonstrate unique actions/initiatives to support site safety and ensure consistent HSE performance.**Your background**:

- Master's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in automation (with a strong focus on I&C or electrical area)
- Experience with managing projects with “complex” deliverables (e.g. systems, engineered packages, multidisciplinary Maintenance Contracts, etc.). You ideally hold a Master's degree in engineering and have a past experience as a project leader/engineer.
- Good knowledge in automation systems about DCS.
- Ability to work under pressure, to operate in a resource constrained environment, to manage many projects concurrently, to set priorities, and to be goal oriented
- Ownership and commitment, ability to understand customer needs
- Fluency in English and Italian and knowledge of a third language (French and/or Spanish ) will be a plus
- The availability to short trips in Italy and abroad is mandatory
