***:**Sr Scientist Consumer and Translational Science**:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Consumer and Translational Science Senior Scientist, located in Helsingborg Sweden, Pomezia Italy or Neuss Germany.

The Consumer and Translational Science Senior Scientist will join a team responsible for carrying out consumer research studies and initiatives to help our business partners, assure innovation is meeting the needs of our consumers as well as translating our science into languages that are meaningful to the consumers we serve. The team works closely with our R&D leads, commercial, commercial market research, product design, medical, quality, and regulatory partners to deliver Consumer insights and shape the R&D pipeline as well as deliver new news to our already marketed products. This role will be responsible for consumer research supporting our entire Consumer portfolio, across Essential Health, Skin Health, Vogue business and Self Care brands. The position will report to the EMEA Consumer Science Lead.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage with R&D, industrial/packaging design, and commercial colleagues to iteratively design features and experiences that delight consumers while driving positive health outcomes
- Define and lead qualitative and quantitative consumer research studies in close collaboration with our business partners and external agencies
- Facilitate science based commercial innovation workshops
- Drive a consumer centric mindset within our R&D organization
- Build capabilities across our organization to help our teams get closer to the consumer
- Partner with our scientific community to define innovative approaches to claims generation

**Qualifications**
**Required**:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in the Essential Health, Skin Health or Self Care Industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are required
- Relevant technical background and demonstrated intellectual curiosity are required
- Excitement for trying new things
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at a time is required
- You must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong oral and written English communication skills, ability to write clearly & informatively and create documents that are complete and accurate
- Possibility to travel up to 10%

**Preferred**:

- Experience with consumer studies and evidence of using those studies to iterate on product design
- Experience identifying, initiating, and managing external partnerships is preferred
- Ability to understand and translate trends in the product category to new consumer & technology insights
