Legal | Legale | Avvocato | **La tua nuova azienda** We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to be joining one of the leading global groups in the large-scale retail trade sector.The Italian Legal and Compliance function has been recently introduced and in collaboration with the Group Legal Department is committed to provide the Italian operation with high-quality legal advice in all the areas of the business while ensuring compliance protection.This is an exclusive opportunity to contribute to the development of the legal department and to deal with a wide range of modern GDO legal issues within a fast-paced and international work environment. **Il tuo nuovo ruolo** - The role requires to provide a broad range of legal and compliance services and to interact with all Italy functions at all levels. - The Legal Counsel will be primarily responsible for drafting and reviewing a full set of company’s agreements including commercial contracts, supply agreements, service and works contracts, NDAs, lease contracts, settlement agreements, legal briefs and correspondence, etc. - As Italy is expanding its digital and X-channel business model, the Legal Counsel will have the unique opportunity to deal also with a broad range of digital and e-comm related matters. - Running legal researches autonomously and providing high-quality legal advice according to the day-to-day business needs will be required as well. - The Legal Counsel will support also the quality team by handing, negotiating and settling potential claims with customers/consumers as well as interacting with any authorities whenever needed. - The Legal Counsel will support the Head of Legal to fulfill the compliance agenda in many ways, including drafting of presentations, delivering of trainings, tracking of company’s compliance activity, reporting. - As we are a large organization the Legal Counsel will have broad interaction with different functions at all levels. **Di cosa hai bisogno per aver successo** - A qualified attorney (must have passed the Italian Bar Exam) with 3-4 years or more post-qualification experience ideally spent within an international company/international law firm; - Autonomous and expert in contract drafting (mainly on service and works contracts, lease agreements) - With solid knowledge in the following areas: commercial law/e-comm, consumer law and data protection. Any additional experience in the following fields will be appreciated: public law, real estate, HS&E, logistic services and product conformity, corporate secretary; - Customers’ oriented with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a proactive approach; - A great communicator, clear, concise, speaking the language of the business, with excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken, a very organized person, able to prioritize under pressure, with sound legal judgement and a keen eye for detail.
