- Based in Milan, you will join DPAM’s Italian branch, part of a leading asset management group recognized for its expertise in active, sustainable investment strategies. Operating in a highly professional environment, you will support the Institutional Sales team, contributing to activities that are critical for client servicing and business development.
- This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in asset management, working alongside seasoned professionals and interacting with DPAM’s international sales network. You will be exposed to the dynamics of institutional investment, including fund management processes, ESG integration, and client relationship management, while developing skills that are highly valued in the financial industry.-
- Your position-
- As an Institutional Sales Support Intern, you will provide essential support to the institutional sales team and ensure smooth operational processes. Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to support the sales team with relevant insights.
- Assisting in preparing RFPs (Request for Proposals) and due diligence questionnaires for institutional clients.
- Supporting the preparation of presentations and marketing materials for client meetings.
- Acting as an interface with internal departments (Fund Management, Reporting, Compliance, Legal, Middle Office, RFP, etc.) to gather necessary information for the institutional sales team.
- Assisting in the organization of client events and roadshows when required.
- Responding to clients’ and prospects’ inquiries in collaboration with the responsible salesperson.
- Assisting in the preparation of regular reporting for clients and prospects.
- Contributing to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and client service.
- Supporting compliance checks and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in client interactions.
- Ensuring the client database (Microsoft Dynamics) is accurate and up to date;
- Managing data consistency for internal sales reporting requirements, including preparing reports.
- Providing administrative and accounting support for the Italian branch.- Your profile-
- Currently studying Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Preferably enrolled in a Master’s degree program.
- Strong interest in the Asset Management industry and financial markets.
- Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of an additional European language is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with a strong client-oriented mindset.
