Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) services is looking for a Global BDM Manager for its Food Business Line.
The appeal of our **Food Business Line **is to support the largest global players in the food industry and its supply chains with testing, inspection, certification and assurance services for food products on an international scope.
**Posizione**:
- Identify business opportunities and the development and monitoring of major international accounts in the sector (manufacturer, retail, catering, import/export).
- Responding to calls for tenders
- Support negotiating framework agreements
- Create a sustainable partnership with our customers and expand the portfolio and service offering according to the customer’s individual needs
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams in several countries to ensure a tailor-made solution can be delivered and executed in line with our internal and our customer-specific quality expectations
- Collect, monitor, evaluate key performance indicators
- Act as a key representative of the company in meetings with clients and at events and trade shows
- Establish relations to key decision makers at the client
Education in Sales (not mandatory, but preferrable BA/Master, Business School or MBA) in the food or consumer goods industry or an equivalent education in combination with work experience.

Curiosity, willingness to adapt to changing environments and customer demands, customer-focus and fun working in an international team with a global operational network. Organization, autonomy, strong interpersonal skills, proactive communication, cooperation and coordination within international teams. Interest to travel. Willingness to learn about our operations on-site.
**Requisiti**:
**Mandatory skills**:
First commercial or technical experience in the Food Industry and related supply chains or TIC (testing, inspection, certification) industry
Fluent English, additional language skills not mandatory, but Spanish is preferable
Affinity with digital tools (e.g. CRM) and other innovative solutions
Ability to travel nationally and internationally (travel will not exceed 10 % of the working days)
