The IES Abroad Milan Housing Assistant is a full-time position that requires **English fluency and experience in the study abroad or real estate sector.**

Primary Responsibilities

Housing:

- Student apartment repair/maintenance: collect requests from students
- coordinate external providers in order to provide prompt intervention, follow-up with students
- Housing Contracts: prepare contracts between IES and landlords as well as with Housing
- Agencies, collect them and file them
- Housing invoice: collect, verify invoices, take care of their payment, file them.
- Coordinate check-in and check-out operations, forms and materials
- Create, distribute and collect Housing evaluations
- Collect and report students outstanding debts
- In close collaboration with Housing Manager and Housing Specialist, assist with identifying housing for customized and summer programs
- Assist with the annual routine housing inspections
- Oversee safety devices in student housing; train students, families and IES staff on their correct use

Secondary Responsibilities

IES Center:

- Support the Housing Specialist in projects related to Center maintenance, refurbishment and renovation
- Coordinate janitorial services
- Manage relations with providers and landlord for damages, repairs, services, interventions

Administrative tasks related to Housing activities:

- Support the IES Accounting and Fiscal Administration in accounting duties
- Collect and report expenditures

Center Security Officer:

- Periodically verify that the IES Center premises are in compliance with the Italian safety standards
- Oversee fire extinguishers checks, security exits, first aid boxes
- In compliance with Italian Safety Laws, organize mandatory medical visits for staff and medical inspection of the IES Center
- Periodical meetings with safety consultants, manage all requested forms and reports

The IES Abroad Milano Housing Assistant will also have various other duties and responsibilities within the general framework of IES Abroad services and cultural activities. The HA will participate in cultural programming throughout the semester (Orientation program, Special Events, Emergency services, Cultural Trips and Farewell Dinner) and will serve as chaperone on IES Abroad sponsored field trips.

Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno, Tempo determinato
Durata contratto: 5 mesi

Retribuzione: €26.000,00 all'anno
