**MISSION**

The Bid Manager shall be responsible for developing high quality proposals while managing a multi-disciplined bid team through the bid development process.

The role encompasses all the competencies of a Project manager and the attitude to continuously trading off on technical, economical, contractual, risk, schedule aspects at the same time.

The focus shall be on preparing bids for equipment and antennas products for major primes in the institutional market (ESA, ASI, NASA, ) as well as in the commercial market worldwide.

**Main Responsibilities and activities**
- Teaming with the Capture Leader to develop a successful bid strategy. Convey this strategy to the team members from all functional areas responsible for submitting costs and specific contributions in support of the bid.
- Support the Capture Leader for the preparation of the Gate 1 and Gate 2 presentations to management as well as any customer negotiations and presentations
- Supervise the proposal writing
- Prepare the Execution Baseline for the future project: WBS,OBS,PBS,RAM, Master schedule and IR, Risks and Opportunities Register, Initial Plan(s) Estimate Pack

**Required SKILLS**
- Perfect knowledge of the Manage Bid process
- 5+ years-experience in management of bids or projects in TAS
- Good knowledge of TASI product portfolio
- Good knowledge of commercial management, legal/contract management and finance functions (including new bid rules for managing the hyperinflation)
- Knowledge of ESA/ASI specific tendering conditions as well as the tools used to publish business opportunities (e.g., EMITS) and to submit proposals (e.g., ESA Star)
- Working knowledge of Term and Conditions normally requested by major primes (mainly European and US)
- Team spirit
- Good English Language level
