W Rome is casting for a Steward Supervisor. The resource will report to the Executive Chef and she/he will be part of the Team of the first W hotel in Italy.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Coordinate the outsourced staff, scheduling shift and assigning activities
- Orders and manages necessary supplies. Ensuring workers have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs
- Monitors the inflow of ordered materials and the maintenance of current materials.
- Inspects supplies, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
- Operate kitchen and cleaning equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
- Supervises employees ability to follow loss prevention policies to prevent accidents and control costs.
- Enforces proper cleaning routines for Serviceware, equipment, floors, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.

**What we’re looking for**
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in luxury hotels
- Understanding of kitchen standards operations and stewarding activities
- Flexible in working late and evening shift
- Computer literate
- Italian language knowledge
- Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
