**Responsible for the Management of the Groups & Events Sales Opportunities** alongside the department head.
**Main daily tasks**
- Proactive handling of national and international Groups & Events inquires, ensuring the effective time response;
- Focus on conversion and strong follow up;
- Assist the department head to manage the sales team;
- Events conversion via qualifying calls, timely follow up, operations of site inspections for potential and confirmed group/events;
- Finalize and up-sell groups booking, meetings, conferences, catered and social events;
- Builds and develop relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth;
- Overviews the Event Sales & Operations activities: ensure expiring options and follow up are timely managed;
- Deposits payment are solicited within the contracted timeline;
- Ensures BEO are clear, complete and timely distributed;
- Attend Pre
- Conference Meetings.
**What are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in hotel events sales;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or similar;
- English Language Proficiency, a second language will be appreciated;
- Knowledge of Opera PMS;
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and availability to work in a dynamic team;
- Highly responsible & reliable;
- Attention to details;
- Integrity and Proactivity;
- Ability to work well under pressure to achieve clients’ expectations;
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team;
- Ability to work as a team.
