Job Description Summary:
Accounting Manager Italy

We are looking for an Accounting Manager Italy who will be responsible for Financial bookkeeping and periodical accounting closing of about 25 entities, coordinating a team a team of about 10 people.

**Job Description**:
Main Responsibilities:
- Look after all the administrative and accounting processes (invoicing, intercompany reconciliations, month-end and year-end journals, accruals, payroll journals, assets bookkeeping, etc.) performed by the team, included periodical check of VAT books, payments of F24 modules and electronic invoicing,- Supervise monthly closing activities and payments process,- Preparation of accurate and timely quarterly reporting packages under IFRS for group purposes,- Draw up the statutory financial statements under OIC,- Maintain all the mandatory books: Inventory Book, Asset Register, VAT Books,in accordance with law and regulations,- Guarantee that all the periodical tax requirements have been properly fulfilled working in coordination with the Tax Department,- Keep track of changes in tax, accounting and business requirements and adapt the accounting framework accordingly,- Support the right implementation of new tools, including automatization of certain processes, to simplify day-by-day activities,- Resolve various issues with suppliers, land-owners, municipalities such as communication of the Company data changes and requests related to payments confirmation and processing,- Cooperate with the team to guarantee compliance and accuracy in internal process- Collaborate with the other Finance and Technical Departments to reach overall department goals and objectives,- Assist the Internal and External Auditors during the periodical audit activities.

Key Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax procedures- Good knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS- Good knowledge of Microsoft MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point- Attention to details- Experience with complex ERP (the knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics will be considered a plus)- Ability to manage large teams- Good English knowledge

Studies and previous experience- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field- 10+ years of accounting experience- Prior experience in a similar role, in complex environments- Prior experience in managing a medium/large team
