**The role**

As an **Account Manager - Public Sector** at **SoftwareOne**, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with public sector clients across Italy. You will identify new business opportunities, drive customer success, and ensure the delivery of tailored technology solutions that meet client needs.
This role requires a results-oriented sales professional with strong business acumen, experience in the public sector, and a passion for technology and digital transformation.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of public sector clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and business expansion.- Identify new opportunities and lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.- Understand client needs to deliver tailored technology and digital transformation solutions.- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure successful delivery and customer success.- Leverage knowledge of the Italian public sector and procurement processes to position SoftwareOne as a trusted advisor.- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and client records using CRM tools.

**What we need to see from you**Proven experience in account management or sales, ideally within the IT or software industry.- Solid understanding of the public sector and government procurement processes in Italy.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.- Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written).- Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and results orientation.- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft 365.- Passion for technology, cloud solutions, and digital transformation.
