**Occupational profile**

The PM_CIVIL in Danieli Construction carries out a technical and managerial work, within the scope of EPC/EPCM orders, being responsible for the technical and economic management of civil works, acting with effective coordination throughout the entire timeframe of the order (from the tender phase to the launch of the order, to the operational management, until the closing of the order).

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides support/advisory to the Commercial Technical Office during the bidding phase for the definition of the technical section of the contracts, the budget estimation of civil works, the drafting of budget requests and the related coordination with the potential suppliers.
- Contributes to the realization of the order planning through the analysis of constructability and the planning of internal and external activities related to civil works.
- Follow-up to the technical offices for the civil engineering activities necessary for the realization of the civil works in the foreseen time and analysis of the design documentation issued, defining the requirements of supply/sub-contracting.
- Drafts technical specifications/purchase requests for sub-contracts and supplies of materials, effectively coordinating the business functions involved (technical, operational, quality, legal, etc. ) for the related contributions and discussing the specifications with the suppliers (companies/material suppliers).
- Unifies and aligns from a technical-economic point of view, the offers received from potential suppliers, managing the finalization of technical-commercial negotiations with the purchasing office.
- Manages contracts with suppliers by coordinating the contributions of the other business functions involved (technical department/construction/legal dept.), monitoring that the related SALs, invoices and in general performance comply with the agreements and contractual targets.
- Monitor with the cost controller, the quantities and costs of civil works, taking into account what has been done on site (SIL), the total quantities expected, the expenses and the orders issued, contributing to a correct projection of the costs to be finished.
- Supports the Construction Manager in the management of the external interface to Clients, Authorities and Consultants in charge of the approval and execution of sub-contracts and supplies of materials (approval of technical data sheets/sub-contractors inputs etc.).
- In coordination with the other company functions, manages the purpose of supplying the civil works to the Customer, from SAL/invoicing, to the approval of new prices, to the management of advances, to the obtaining of final certificates, etc.
- Provides support to the construction sites in the construction phases, for issues related to the supplies/sub-contracts it manages.
- He takes care of the closing of supply and sub-contracting contracts from a technical point of view (preparing the quality books: coordinating the sending, completeness and correctness of the certificates produced by the suppliers) and from an economic point of view (managing the closing of the contracts, the related +/- variations, the issuing of guarantees, claims, etc.).

**Technical Requirements**:

- Civil Engineering Master Degree.
- Ability to read and manage executive design documentation related to civil engineering works.
- Ability to draft specifications/tender specifications for civil engineering works.
- Ability to manage technical and economic sub-contracts.
- Knowledge of the main Italian technical regulations (NTC 2018, T. U. Edilizia D. P. R. 380/2001 and s.m.i., Legislation on Procurement, T. U. Safety 81/2008) and European (Eurocodes 0-9, UNI EN 1090)
- Knowledge of other international regulations (American/English/Etc.) will be considered a qualifying prerequisite.
- Excellent knowledge of the technical design and construction aspects of civil engineering works (geotechnical works, deep foundations, complex foundations, multi-storey cabins, c.a.p., carpentry, architectural works, works for sub-services and roads).
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Advanced Word/Excel).
- Knowledge of Spring Software or Microsoft Project for scheduling will be considered a qualifying prerequisite.
