Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Partner will play a pivotal role within the Finance Manufacturing Team, serving as a strategic business partner to the manufacturing site. This position is instrumental in supporting both the site’s key stakeholders and the Finance Director in achieving the company’s financial objectives and long-term strategic goals.

In this role, the Finance Partner will:

- Work closely with manufacturing leadership to ensure the site remains cost-competitive and aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Deliver robust financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making and drive performance improvements.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and forecasting, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner by translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that enhance business understanding and guide strategic resource allocation.
- Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the manufacturing site, ensuring financial targets are achieved and variances are effectively managed.
- Support investment decisions through detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis, enabling informed and strategic choices.

Key responsibilities:
Demonstrate expert knowledge and ownership in key responsibilities below:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly & yearly Plant PL/Cash & inventory forecast
- Prepare month end close process (accrual calculation, expenses accuracy, integrity, etc.) as well as monthly reports that will support operations in their decision making (Headcount, MUV, OPEX and others)
- Provide Cost estimate for project or new product launch
- Conduct regular cost centre reviews with key stakeholder and ensure cost reduction & optimization by providing strong Business partnering
- Support by educating all the Plant functions to better understand the financial impacts
- Support simplification within Finance department by improving reporting tools

Qualifications and skills
- Minimum 5 years Finance partner role with strong experience in financial reporting & accounting.
- ACCA/ CIMA Qualified preferred. University degree in business/finance/engineering.
- Prior supply chain experience required.
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting in SAP environment, consolidation.
- Advanced financial analysis skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and business acumen is required to professionally interact with key stakeholders and global finance colleagues.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer partnership and focus.
- Fluent in Italy and English.
- This position plays a key role in business partnering and managing the manufacturing cost. Therefore, the ability to manage vast quantities of data and information and turn into decision-support activities is fundamental.
