**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Ensure that the wine list is continuously updated about trends, focusing on Italian and local products and labels
- Serve all beverage orders in a professional manner, using the correct equipment and following the proper procedures
- Be able to recommend wine to guests according to the requirements
- Take beverage orders promoting up-selling techniques
- Advise and train the service team for what concerns all aspects of the beverage service
- Ensure that all wine lists are updated and maintain an accurate sales record of wines and spirits
- Control the stock levels of all beverage items
- Assist with the service of food if and when necessary
**Requirements**:
- Previous working experience in a fine-dining restaurant, preferably in a 5-star luxury resort/hotel
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
- Proactive, with good customer-service skills
