Territory Account Manager

SUMMARY
You will promote Ribbon sales in Italy with a focus on the Telecom Italia group and other major operators.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Deliver the company’s yearly set sales targets/ budget for the assigned accounts.
- Protect and expand Ribbon sales at TIM group.
- Identification and acquisition of new business opportunities and projects with our Transport, Optics, Data/Packet and C&E products and solutions.
- Manage the sales process of these new business/project opportunities including negotiations and closure of new business and partner contracts.
- Lead the tender response process as a leading part of the account team facing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage orders, business opportunities, activities and sales forecasts in the company CRM systems.
- Create and retain positive proactive and sustainable ongoing relationships with the assigned customers.
- Maintain good relations, collaboration & communication with the team of the internally involved parties including the LoBs (Line of Business units), PLM ( product line managers), marketing, channels team, customer support, GSD team, project management sales engineering, finance, legal, etc
QUALIFICATIONS
- Approximately 3 years past experience managing telecommunications-related sales interfacing with end customers
- Approximately 3 years past experience leading complex tenders.
- Proven relations at Telecom Italia group and other major operators in Italy
- Experience working in multinational organizations in cross-cultural environments
- Ability to travel abroad when requested
- Preferably but not mandatory - degree in engineering/ telecommunications or any other relevant high education.
