Tp400 Gearbox Deputy Module Integration Leader

Avio Aero is looking for a talented Deputy System or Project Engineer, expected to coordinate and lead the TP400 Power GearBox activities within the Services Engineering organization, reporting to the System Engineer.

The position requires accountability, excellent communication skills and cross functional leadership to support of Production and Fleet operations. He / She will conduct the activities in interface with External Customers and Authorities (EASA), Avio Aero Design, Maintanance and Production Organizations, as well as Project Management Office.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Coordination of cross-functional teams within the Design Organization (Designers, Repair and Development, Material and Processes, Life Management, Failure Analysis, Product Support Engineers, Sucontractors) to exectute post certification Engineering milestones;
- Lead Design Reviews;
- Lead Change in Design process to standardization of Post-Certification modifications;
- Interface with External customers and Certification Authorities (EASA)
- Interface with other Functions within Avio Aero (Legal, Maintanance Organization, Production Organization, Project Management Office);
- Report to Internal Leadership on execution of engineering and program milestones
- Be in charge of Work Packages Cost Performance Index and On Time Delivery Index.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Aeronautical or Mechanical engineering Master of Science from an accredited university or college;
- Significant experience applied to Design, Integration, Production and / or Maintanance of AeroEngine modules / components, powerplants or other complex mechanical systems;
- Proven accountability in leading complex engineering activities; experience in different phases of the product Lifecycle would be an asset (design, fabrication, test, certifification, investigations, repair and/or production support);
- Proven experience in writing technical specifications and reports
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills; willingness and can-do attitude to directly interact with several internal and external customers;
- Prioritize work, and communicate openly in stressful situations;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Travel availability;
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required;

**Desired Characteristics**
- Previous experience with PART21 and PART145 regulations;
- Previous experience with Certification Specifications for Engines (CS-E) and applicable Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC)
- Previous experience in conducting field investigations with TOPS8D methodology;
- Experience in the Aeronautical Industry
- Fluent in written and Italian language
