Production Manager, Ecoat

The Production Manager, Ecoat ensures on time delivery of defect-free products through the management of the department according with Safety and Quality standards and practices defined by SBU, Company Policy and local regulations, reaching the full customer satisfaction. You will review production records and evaluate the operating performance (team skills, productivity and costs) of the department in according the production planning defined. You are responsible of the team performance and developing. You will report to the Plant Manager **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure the safety practices to accomplish with Company Policy and local regulations. This includes MOC, EBO/SBO, Process Hazard Analysis (if required); HOP (Human Organizational Performance) deployment responsibility. - Guarantee the fulfillment of Quality standards for products and processes; - Verify the execution of the production schedules, actuating the appropriate corrections in case of deviation, keeping informed the Supply Chain and the Plant Manager about problems - Guarantee the necessary coordination between team leaders - Support the department planner in the output for the week, considering the department resources concerning workforce and equipment - Support the process engineering in the process and statistical analysis to solve any process or quality deviation - Support process engineering, formulators and technical team in PPG European organization insuring the correct scale up of new products/formulas and process - Coordinate with Maintenance Manager the items that needs to be added the preventive maintenance plan, to improve the capacity and the performance of the department - Act in the cost department control to respect the budget and volume activity - Act to reduce cycle time and waste generation - Support the plant activities such as material recovery and reduce SSPL - Manage the necessary training of the team with focus on safety tools - Be a principal actor in solving problem activity - Develop the team performance by coaching and motivating - Develop the skills of the team supporting the appropriate training and carrier development **Qualifications** - Technical degree. Bachelor Degree in Production Management or in Logistics/Supply Chain - Min between 2 and 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain - Lean manufacturing knowledge - English language knowledge is required **Qualifications** - Technical degree.
