As a PSE Productivity & LCA Leader, you will lead all Productivity and Cost-Out initiatives inside Packages and Systems Engineering Organization (PSE), strictly working in a cross-functional environment to achieve operational excellence and saving targets for Electric Motor-Compressor and Steam Turbine projects.

In this role you will coordinate dedicated project margin expansion activities, managing direct material budgets, leading productivity project reviews, identifying new strategies to generate project savings and engaging project team on leakage avoidance.

As a PSE Productivity & LCA Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Working with Engineering, Project Management and Supply Chain to identify project saving opportunities, to assure design solutions are aligned to project requirements and project budget leveraging on product configuration knowledge and inspiring by design to Cost approach.
- Maintaining close contact with the Productivity Leaders of all other Department to share best practice and report to the leadership team progresses and roadblocks.
- Leading Project Productivity Review for dedicated project, preparing and conducting meeting with extended project team, managing action item identification.
- Defining and meet DMP targets for PSE organization attending weekly collaboration room.
- Driving engineering change reviews, analyzing impact on the job and identifying change orders opportunities and leakage mitigation actions.
- Supporting RCA in case of leakages, to deeply understand source of loss and contribute to proper corrective and preventive actions definition.
- Assuring standard configuration is applied on the project, working strictly connected with CFG Team, providing feedback from projects to cost model update and with seamless approach on most challenging jobs, maximizing cost model adoption on configured systems and supporting budget definition on innovative designs.
- Preparing and presenting to leadership team productivity business review ensuring material presented highlights relevant aspects.
- Helping effective negotiation during the OTR phase and, when needed, during ITO phase performing Project Budget Review (PBR).
- Being involved in strategic cost-out initiatives with upper management.
- Taking initiative for the development of new procedures, re-design and cost out activities to improve year-over-year the value of the product
- Guiding design teams and supply chain to develop a multi-disciplinary product cost awareness
- Being partner of CostLab initiatives, defining best practice and Methodology of Cost Management to Improve Company Performance in synergy with our partners
- Contributing to product Sustainability, supporting environmental life cycle assessment (e-LCA) of PSE products.

Desired Characteristics:

- Demonstrate extensive experience in engineering, executing technical tasks and facing internal and external customers.
- Have knowledge of Leancost, DFMA, or other Costing Tools knowledge.
- Be confident with SimaPro or other Life Cycle Assessment tools knowledge.
- Have accountability and collaboration attitude to work in cross-functional Teams, where diversity is appreciated and encouraged as an added & enriching value.
- Have passion for technical deep dive, professionally curious, innovation advocate.
