As **UPG PSE Mechanical Engineering Leader **your essential responsibilities will be:

- Lead the team of Design Engineers responsible for Mechanical discipline technical documentation issuing, complying with quality and time schedule targets as per Program/Project needs (Customer and/or Procurement and/or Manufacturing and/or Field/site aspects); focus areas are: define and procure auxiliary solution; lead structural design; defining plant layout; coordinate the reverse engineering phase (if needed);
- Provide technical leadership to ensure full compliance of auxiliary systems components design to project/program requirements (Internal and external Customers, Regulatory and field constraints);
- Manage Engineering/Quality KPIs assuring high performance in terms of results;
- Coordinating and supporting the outsource engineering resources, monitoring their quality, timing and productivity;
- Drive excellence in building team mechanical engineering capabilities; working in the 3D model based environment, leveraging on the computational tools for structural (both static and dynamic) and civil topics; in order to ensure the fulfillment of functional requirements and the environmental constraints;
- Lead and maintain effective the interfaces, the initiatives, and the data flow with other Company Departments and functions (Procurement/Manufacturing, Logistic cells, Global Service );
- Communicate project/program/disciplines growth progresses and accomplishments to Senior Management;
- Work close to RQS Project Engineering and NPD Systems Engineering functions to facilitate flawless projects/programs execution for all business segments;
- Drive and influence the configuration adoption;
- Support supply chain and sites in resolution of non-conformities (service requests);
- Promote an environment where innovative ideas generation process is encouraged, being a pioneer and ambassador of Energy Transition;

To be successful in this role you will need

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Engineering Master’s degree;
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical and thermal physical domains;
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a Systems Integration discipline;
- Proven experience with technical problems resolution for machines and/or complex systems design;
- Strong ability to manage global teams in a complex matrix organization;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- ability to influence and motivate others;
- Effective leadership, team building and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to promote cultural changes and continuous collaboration behavior;
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and internal/external customers;
- English fluency;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
