As the **Business Excellence** **Manager**, you play a central role in leading activities and process aimed at increase business effectiveness, quality, productivity and reliability to meet long-term cost targets, improve the performance management implementing technological and organizational innovative solutions for problem solving activities that ensure a flawless safety, quality and efficiency of planning, production, releasing of the products.

You will have the chance, to lead initiative, process and projects that impacts on planning, operations and releasing performance making your know-how available to lead Project Leaders maintaining a periodical alignment to Management. To guarantee interaction with different departments by structuring the design of new solutions with them to improve operations processes, quality process, planning process and release process as well as, from a technology standpoint, to create model of specific metric for reliability of supply chain process. All of that according to lean manufacturing and six sigma principles.

To achieve this, you partner with the local teams within QA, Planning, MAM, TechOps and IT as well as platform and global functions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support plant management in the transformation of the strategy into business objectives as well as in the control of the same
- Providing representative models of the Business that facilitate Management Control and the identification of areas criticality to solve and areas for improvement
- Lead benchmarking initiatives (internal and external) and self assessment to find critical situation to solve and opportunities for improvement
- Supervise the reliability and performance of the plant, be responsible for constant updating of the metrics of the plant to guarantee powerful solution for site performance management
- Lead the development and dissemination of the lean manufacturing, six sigma and Continuous Improvement approach creating communication plan, training plan, end lead the execution plan, in collaboration with the Process Owners
- Assuring the upskills of lean and structured approach for performance management for the people at all levels of the organization

**Qualifications** Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Data Science or equivalent is required
- Master’s Degree is preferred
- Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification

**Experience**:

- Requires 5+ years of experience in the fields of engineering, IT or operations within API or pharma manufacturing (or other regulated business)
- Prior experience in leading programs to deliver business results
- Strong influencer with demonstrated track record of developing strategy and aligning partners and team members to support and deliver

- Fluent in English (B2 level and above) and good knowledge of Italian (local language)

**Other qualifications that will be considered as a plus**:

- Knowledge of GMP regulation;
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Excel
- Usage of Power Query, Power BI, Tableau is considered a nice to have requirement
