National Corporate Account Manager

**Role Purpose**
As a member of RS Corporate Account team, the Corporate Account Manager assumes direct responsibility for the corporate accounts in the assigned portfolio and assumes accountability for the consistent roll-out in the various sites with close collaboration with local stakeholders. This will be done via a “top-down” approach via the management of the national portfolio as well as supporting a “bottom-up” approach via the local teams
**Responsibilities**
- Managing a portfolio of national Corporate Customers with solutions-growth mindset
- Developing a specific sales strategy for each customer within the portfolio to optimise sales and profitability
- Leading and Coordinating actions with internal sales, Field Sales, corporate organisations and support functions
- Forecasting and managing the budget: sales, margin and ROI of the contracts belonging to the portfolio
- Market analysis (industry sector if no industry vertical director), competition and trends
- Project managing and facilitating the deployment of contracts across the market and sites
- Coordinating support from other functions such as supply chain, logistics, digital, finance, technical and marketing
- Ensuring consistency of compliance programs across all sites
- Identification of service development opportunities to enhance the RS Offer and expand customer penetration
- Be the single point of contact for any future national opportunities which are presented to the market for the assigned industry/area.
- Contract negotiation including commercial and legal terms and conditions to the mutual benefit and agreement of both parties
- Capturing and updating customer organisation charts to identify diverse key decision makers with the objective of developing contracts
- Assess accessible potential of customers, identify share of wallet expansion
- Implement EMEA contracts according to central contract strategy
- Prospecting and acquisition of new opportunities
- Identification and implementation of value-added solutions with the support of technical experts
- Monitor opportunities and drive customer information on CRM
- Broadening account network of contacts in target personas
- Identification and validation of relevant customer spend potential and understanding the opportunities that fill the gap between spend potential and current revenue
- Discovery of customer procurement, inventory management and maintenance challenges and process
- Develop a specific Account plan for each customer with short/medium/long term clear goals to develop the customer share of wallet.
- Work with the marketing team to identify and develop specific action to accelerate the growth of customers
- Monitoring and identify new tender in existing customer for new business

You’ll drive growth by developing tailored sales strategies, coordinating with internal teams, and managing budgets. The role requires in market analysis, contract deployment, compliance assurance, and service development to enhance the RS offer and customer penetration. You can optimise business outcomes through contract negotiation, customer organisation updates, potential assessment, and EMEA contract implementation. Your proactive approach in prospecting new opportunities, implementing value-added solutions, and broadening the account network can contribute to business expansion. The ability to understand customer challenges and develop specific account plans will be instrumental in increasing the customer share of wallet. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll identify actions to accelerate customer growth.
**Essential Skills & Experience**
