**Posizione**:
We are selecting Automotive Mechanical Engineers specialized in **DIGITAL MOCK-UP**.

It’s a virtual analysis activity of automotive bodywork components and assemblies, carried out with CAD/CAO.

With this methodology, it is possible to carry out simulations of assembly, interactions between components and constructions, before their realization, thus allowing an evaluation of alternative configurations and the identification in advance of problems such as: interferences, minimum distances, assembly errors, etc;

for this position, **the figure will be tasked with of**:

- **create the preliminary design** of parts/brackets/fixtures in different materials (steel, aluminum, plastic, composite) and **technology** (die casting, extrusion, stamping, moulding, etc.);
- do vehicle layout studies and component/system installation studies;
- Validate and optimize layout based on customer specifications;
- Release pre-development CAD assemblies according to internal development process;
- Collision check, analysis of mínimal distance and reporting;
- Chek of the quality** **CAD data in the **TcAE/PLM system**;
- Creation of **DMU** templates and checklist verification;
- Tracking of all packages open issues;
- Management and tracking database of anomalies;
- Realization of the issue **logbook**.

- Good communication and synthesis skills
- Comfortable around top management
- Availability to travel

**Language skills**:

- Fluent written and spoken English.
- German and italian languages are an evaluable plus.
