Position Summary

Perform a range of activities to effectively market assigned products such as implement product analysis, identify best product positioning (offers), coordinate new products launching activities, prepare portfolio analysis and business overview materials, support sales team in terms of product portfolio information, overseeing and support advertising (BTL/ATL) campaigns, monitoring sales performance.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Be a reference point for all marketing aspects of the product - local team, Korea HQ, customers.
- Prepare product briefing (WHO/WHAT) for product positioning and communication.
- Monitor and prepare open market flyer creativity.
- Share product information in terms of marketing to sales team and marketing team.
- Review product launch PR.
- Constantly monitor technological and competitors trends and movement and suggest proper actions to marketing team
- Liaise with other team members to design mktg campaigns and sales collateral for the product that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.
- Prepare portfolio analysis, business report doc and portfolio planning roadmap.
- Manage overall product lifecycle activities in terms of channel management, product revamp, pricing.
- Prepare pricelist and product benchmarks
- Overlook to product performance, Identify and implement sell-out activities to boost sales in each channel.
- Set Market Share Target on a quarterly basis and design the product strategy (4Ps) to achieve it.
- Manage product value equation, encompassing price, value added services and promotions, liaising with other Marketing and Technical Product Management teams
- Support marketing, sales, and support by leading the development and maintenance of appropriate collateral including user guides, presentations, marketing content and demos
- Act as product lead and evangelist for Samsung products across variety of mobile devices and operating systems;
- Define and prioritize product requirements, features and functionality
- Manage all portfolio localization and co-branding activities;
- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical/marketing analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
- Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from internal business owners, partners, and customers

Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background: Master of science, MBA Preferred (Business Administration, Marketing, Management Engineer)

Professional Background: 4 years exp in product marketing roles | 3 years exp in Management Consulting

Computer Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Excel and PPT | Good skills of main office automation software and market analysis tools.

Language Knowledge: Very good written English; good spoken English.

Others: strong business acumen required - desirable specific product knowledge.
