**Engineering Director**:** Location: Parma, Italy**

Drive all engineering activities on-site including Capital Projects, Utilities operations, Maintenance and Process Engineering. Automation is also part of his/her accountability.

**Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Ensure Global Engineering Standards are in place and in use.
- Fully accountable for all engineering activities on-site including Capital Projects, Asset Management and Operational Engineering.
- Ensure Engineering is a key component of all value stream activities.
- Define and deliver engineering key performance indicators to ensure the site is able to perform as a best-in-class site.
- Develop and implement an Engineering Strategy aligned to the Site strategy and role.
- Responsible for the Facility Master plan and subsequent Capital Plan to ensure facility compliance (base spend), and proper investments for Service, Value, Quality, Safety and sustainability.
- Ensure investment model is aligned to financial ambition for best cost to customer.
- Ensure cost, quality, financial robustness and GSK reputation drive the suppliers selection process
- Champion the Site sustainability program covering energy consumption and water management.
- Be role model in people management: focus, care, develop and motivate.

**Basic Qualifications**:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

- Degree in Engineering
- Must have experience as a Site Engineering Director from a pharma or FMCG background
- Engineering and Plant Maintenance experience.
- Leadership experience is a must
- Experience within a secondary manufacturing discipline

**Preferred Qualifications**:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Proficient in speaking Italian
- Multi-disciplined experience
