**Job Description Summary**: Avio Aero is looking for a Sr Manager - Digital Operations to join our exciting and dynamic team of product, software & infrastructure experts in the Avio Aero DISE (Data, Infrastructure and Software Engineering) organization. In this role you will be responsible for Applications and Infrastructure day-to-day operations to improve performance, availability and end-user satisfaction providing in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and strategic initiatives.

**Essential responsibilities**:
In this role, you will:

- Lead a team of employees and contractors focused across the digital operations space to include infrastructure and Application Support (ERP and non-ERP)
- Ensure systems performance and service-level requirements with service providers (internal and external) are met and drive any actions required to maintain or improve it
- Be focal person to support our customer’s needs
- Manage DT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands
- Implement DT continuous improvement programs within enterprise guidelines
- Lead DT asset management team to ensure asset's full lifetime cycle value is achieved
- Manage strategic relationships with other DT product owners and services providers
- Create and maintain a catalogue of existing services offered by DT
- Produce regular reports on service performance and achievement to stakeholders
- Act as the liaison for tracking, communicating and managing any temporary changes to service levels
- Must be innovative in identifying means to improve IT service quality within established boundaries
- Act as a change agent to implement and manage quality improvement processes in service delivery management
- Be the technical product owner of the local ERP system based on SAP
- Coach DT colleagues on DT service life-cycle management models and frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM)
- Establish and foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, diverse, inclusive, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time
- Ensure conformance to all applicable GE standards policies and guidelines

**Qualification / Requirements**:

- Proven experience in managing operations in a SAP based Environment
- Solid technical knowledge of SAP platform
- Strong experience in a customer/client facing technical role
- Proven experience working with software engineering and technology infrastructure
- Strong project management capabilities with a results-oriented, pragmatic approach to problem solving and quality delivery
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to lead and run remote teams, potentially multicultural and on multiple time zones
- Legal authorization to work in the European Union or specific country is required. GE will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job. EU work permit
- Italian and English fluency
