**Program Description**:
The **International Internship Program** is the initiative launched by **the UniCredit Foundation** in collaboration with **UniCredit**, which offers the most brilliant students the opportunity to carry out a **curricular internship from 3 to 6 months** in one of the Group countries in different business areas.

**Position Overview**

The Equity Portfolio Team is a core unit within the Investments division of Cordusio. Its primary role is to build, manage and monitor equity portfolios for the Segregated Accounts of the firm. Its main tasks include, although are not limited to:

- Build and manage long-only European, US and Global equity portfolios in stocks, selected through a rigorous bottom-up, fundamental process;
- Build and manage long-only European, US, EM and Asia Pacific equity portfolios in mutual funds, by combining the support of Cordusio’s Fund Selection team with own analysis and assessment of the quality of each fund’s investment process;
- Build and manage thematic equity portfolios in mutual funds, by combining the support of Cordusio’s Fund Selection team with own analysis and assessment of the quality of each fund’s investment process;
- Build and manage an absolute-return portfolio in mutual funds, combining diversified strategies (equity long/short, event-driven, multi-strategy);
- Build and manage long-only portfolios in ETFs and/or Passive funds. Search of cost-effective instruments to carry out tactical and strategic investments in targeted areas;
- Contribute to the Asset Allocation view of Cordusio and of the Global Wealth Management division through the top-down analysis and valuation of global equity markets;
- As the sole equity analysis hub within the whole Unicredit Group, support our network of Private Bankers by supplying them with market and sector views, explanations of portfolio performance and investment decisions and, upon request, analysis of customer positions and participation to meetings with clients and prospects;
- Preparation, maintenance and monitoring of a list of recommended equity investments called Guided Securities, published on a monthly basis;
- Support Cordusio’s Product Department in the issuance of equity-based investment certificates through ideas and narrative;
- Lead and support the effort of the equity teams at Cordusio, Schoellerbank, Bank Austria and Hypovereinsbank to converge towards a Global Platform, sharing ideas and promoting discussions for the Equity Catalogue both online through OneNet and within our bi-monthly meetings.

**Key Job Functions**
- Be an active part of portfolio construction and analysis, able to identify investable stocks and funds with a rigorous fundamental approach, conducted through broker’s research, company and analyst meetings, interviews with senior fund managers as well as via regular discussions within our team;
- Expand, improve and develop both the use and the effectiveness of the instruments available to Cordusio (Bloomberg, Aladdin, risk management tools etc ) to adequately monitor risk, sector/country/factor exposure etc;
- Be open to a proactive and regular communication with the other teams within Cordusio (Asset Allocation, Advisory, Products etc.) and with Cordusio’s and Unicredit’s network of client managers;
- Feel highly motivated, share our passion for this work and view, as we do, the challenges posed by managing equity investments as a sharp intellectual stimulus.

Requisiti

**Requirements**:

- Degree in economics or mathematics/physics;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Solid general culture and principles and strong attention to new aspects and issues of the surrounding world (ie an experience as volunteer within charitable organisations is appreciated);
- Strong team spirit, preferably (but not necessarily) cultivated in youth amateur sports teams;
- Be able to work autonomously in a multicultural environment.

**Other Skills/Abilities**
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken;
- Strong team player with problem-solving attitude, able to identify solutions;
- Working knowledge and experience with Bloomberg, Windows operating systems, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
