Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
Within the HR area we are looking for a Group Workforce Planning & People Analytics Manager. The unit Group Workforce Planning & People Analytics is responsible for coordinating Group Strategic & Operative Workforce Planning activities while also leading the establishment of a People Analytics Center of Expertise at Group level. Within the scope it has to:
- Implement Strategic Workforce Planning approach to understand in advance the future Group workforce needs in terms of skills and roles
- Lead operative workforce planning, monitoring & reporting process to support achievement of financial targets and deliver operational excellence, by defining ambitions on Workforce Evolution (3y plan & yearly budget) ensuring alignment with Group Strategy
- Evolve Group capabilities on People Analytics by developing & fostering adoption of advanced analytics solutions to improve business performance through data-driven insights on workforce
- Represent HR in all strategic tables dealing with cross-functional business projects
The job holder will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting the implementation of strategic workforce planning methodology across the group, by ensuring adequate cascading to the countries during HR meeting / workshop and by directly leading implementation projects
- Driving the operative workforce planning, monitoring & reporting process, being proactive in suggesting potential improvements of the current models bringing innovation and simplification
- Participating to the Group Business Projects, for what concern the definition of HR-related workstream scope and activities, information and templates to be used during the project, collect and analyze data from the Business Units, perform / analyze internal and external benchmarks, interact with internal and external (e.g. consultant) stakeholders, etc.
- Leading the whole organizational clarity project (data collection, analysis, output preparation, output presentation, workshop, etc), annual exercise run at Group level to analyze the Group workforce activity allocation and productivity, to provide business units with internal/external benchmarks and improve organizational effectiveness
- Providing regular analysis on workforce composition ensuring the outcome is in line with the seniority level of the recipient (Board of Directors, GMC, HR Council)
- Identifying opportunities for piloting advanced analytics methodologies on specific workforce segment, building ad-hoc business case and leading project implementation
Must have
- Master Degree in Economics, Engineering or Statistics
- English and Italian full proficiency, third language (French, German or Spanish) is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Office (excel, ppt, word)
- Academic or working international experience
- Working experience within business consulting companies would be a plus
- Proven experience of working in complex matrix organizations, managing multiple projects while guaranteeing timely and accurate delivery
