Specific Duties & Standards
- The Fund Accountant will undertake a number of fundamental tasks as follows:
- performing accounting activities for the assigned mandates-
- performing daily checks and controls aiming to ensure total accuracy of all accounting data-
- managing daily reconciliations breaks, following up on unsettled cash entries with the bank, including automated and manual cash reconciliations-
- creating and Maintaining accurate reconciliation system records-
- providing accurate information in cash reconciliations, including corporate action and income related entries and records-
- participating in user acceptance of new / upgraded software as required.- Experience- Bachelors Degree or equivalent (preferably in business or finance)-
- Must have 1-2 years experience in the financial services industry-
- Skills: Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office-
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)-
- Excellent organization and time management skills-
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment-
- Strong attention to detail- Desirable- Knowledge of fund accounting activities-
