**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible and accountable for customer management, operational management, quality performance, engineering, Health & Safety, Security and Environmental management of the AST ITA plant of about 30 people. We are looking for someone who is not only an experienced Operations Manager, but would enjoy “rolling up their sleeves” and being involved in many activities as we commission the site. She/he will provide regular and appropriate performance information to STERIS Managers/Director and ensure compliance to all relevant Company and legal regulations.

**Duties**:
**Education Degree**:

- High School Diploma or GED

**Required Experience**:
Solid technical, commercial or related experience

Valid driver’s licence

Proven technical capability

Proven leadership qualities (leading by example)

High degree of trust, integrity and honesty

Acute awareness of the importance of safety to the business

Willing to go the extra mile for our Customers (Customer First, always)

Good understanding of the principle of continuous improvement

Well-developed understanding of risk and risk avoidance

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

Good understanding of the local business market.

Some exposure to the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries would be a distinct advantage

Able to remain calm under pressure and make rational decisions
