- The role sits in the Italian branch of Jupiter Asset Management International and is reporting directly to the Head of Italy. Based in Milan, the purpose of the role is to drive further the expansion of Jupiter Asset Management across the Wholesale channel in Italy. Italy is a key market for Jupiter’s international growth ambitions. To do this, you will work in collaboration with the whole Italian distribution team as well as with the wider European sales team and various stakeholders in London like Channel Marketing, the Events Team, Investment Specialists, the RFP team etc.Key Responsibilities
- Selling / cross-selling Jupiter’s Investment strategies to prospects / clients in Italy in the wholesale channel as well as the institutional clients (in close collaboration with the pan-European Institutional team)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: develop and implement a sales strategy with the Country Head
- In close collaboration with and supported by our local Client Service team: Provide clients and prospects with information and updates on Jupiter funds to ensure a top-class client relationship & after sales service
- Organize and conduct regular client and prospect meetings throughout Italy, presenting our capabilities and acting as trusted first point of contact to clients
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-initiative towards client engagement and sales campaigns
- Develop a hand-in-hand relationship with the Head of Italy and the whole team through ongoing informal reporting on the business, constructive criticism and new ideas
- Share meaningful information to achieve a co-ordinated sales effort within the whole team
- Keep the CRM tool (Salesforce) up to date with client meetings & calls and pipeline management and use the tool to your benefit to the best possible extent
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and adhere to local regulatory requirements; at all times conduct any activity in consistence with the principles of treating customers fairly and the relevant rules, regulations and internal procedures

General requirements:

- Fluent in Italian and English language (essential)
- Extensive network of strong relationships with “fund buyers” in the financial intermediary sector & in the institutional space
- Sound knowledge of the distribution channels in Italy coped with a sound understanding of the trends developing in the short, medium and long term
- Extensive experience in financial markets and investments
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sales-opportunities at the same time
- True Team player with good interpersonal skills in order to develop good working relationships with colleagues (locally and internationally)

Additional Role Details

Place of employment is the Company’s office in Milan. The Employee should embrace regular travel within Italy in performance of his/her duties and occasionally abroad to the Head Office in London.
