Sr mRNA Vaccines Brand Manager (Covid-19 and Anti-flu) - Rome site
- Why Patients Need You- As our understanding of the Covid-19 disease epidemiology and virus mutations continue to evolve, we are continuously following the science and exploring new vaccine regimens that may be needed as the pandemic evolves. Developing and investigating different approaches, should they be needed, including next generation adapted vaccines and new formulations for pediatric age groups are essential in our efforts.- In the meantime, we continue to focus on development of new mRNA vaccines for other diseases such as the anti-flu vaccine.- Together with R&D initiatives, long term patient outcomes will be dependent on delivering customer and patient centric solutions with agility against the evolving nature of diseases.

The Sr mRNA Vaccines Brand Manager reports directly to Italy Vaccines Lead.

Works together with internal stakeholders in country all relevant internal stakeholders in country (e.g. medical functions, customer facing team, digital, H&V, corporate affairs, regulatory, supply chain, finance and legal) and above country global/regional teams.

- Primary Responsibilities

Commercial Excellence & Lifecycle Management- Lead development of country brand plans and ensure that customers and patients’ needs are well understood and processed into business plans.- Lead evolution of Covid-19 vaccine model in line with supply agreements, new formulation launches and evolution of the disease.- Lead launch preparations for new mRNA vaccines, which are currently in the R&D phase.- Work in close collaboration with global teams to contribute to the development of global brand strategy.- Implement programs, selected initiatives and materials, ensuring full compliance with Pfizer internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Leadership- Lead in-country cross-functional team and work in collaboration with regional & global cross functional teams in order to coordinate the activities of members of these teams as appropriate to achieve brand objectives.

Internal and External Ambassador- Partner with customer facing teams, relevant functions and leadership team to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy.- Ensure that customers and patients’ needs as well as disease and market trends are well understood and processed into the local and Glocal business plans- Collaborate and co-create with Glocal/Regional teams to contribute to the development of overall brand strategy and market specific solutions.- Lead communication with external stakeholders to leverage insights

Financial Planning- Accountable for the planning, spending & controlling of budgets agreed for own areas of responsibility & developing regular forecast updates to aid financial planning- Oversee sales and forecasting, provide country input into regional forecasts
- What You Offer - Qualifications- University Degree (economic or scientific preferred)- Brand management experience.- Experience in pharmaceutical market and healthcare environment.- Ability to manage change.- Demonstrated ability to design strategies and then pull those through into successful execution.- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and lead cross-functional teams. Able to interact, influence and work effectively with all levels.- Be an active contributor to create and operate in an environment that encourages the implementation of innovative ideas- Strong organization, planning and problem-solving skills.- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.- External stakeholder management experience.- Ability to manage priorities, handle multiple tasks with frequent tight deadlines, and be productive when working with agility.- Fluency in Italian and Business English
