**Data Manager**:
To continue our growth, we are hiring new talents. We are currently embarking on a new data centric project, Enterprise Data Hub (EDH), focusing on delivering and operating a data platform that will support access to core data, data analytics, data science and other types of data requirements. We are now looking for an experienced EDH Manager who will help us build and run the EDH team and deliver a high-quality, innovative and fully performing data platform that complies with our standards and policies.

Contribution
- Evolve an agile methodology to drive the EDH delivery model implementing a collaborative and quick interaction among the EDH team and between EDH team and Stakeholders
- Be responsible for the continued delivery of our EDH platform to support many MSC products, business users and data science
- Drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team
- Proactively drive innovation and options made available by new technologies

Additional Responsibilities
- Determine and deploy the right resources in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Participate in the recruitment process
- Lead and manage the EDH team working closely with the EDH product owner identifying training needs, motivating the EDH team, and managing team performance
- Determine the SMART objectives and corresponding action plans
- Participate in the creation of the project roadmap
- Monitoring and reporting project progress against milestones and deliverables in line with the Product Owner
- Communicating proactively with all involved parties to identify issues and risks, generate solutions, and implement improvements
- Effectively managing project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are communicated, documented and approved by the project sponsor
- Supervise compliance with MSC policies and procedures
- Taking on an exemplary role and promoting the Company values

Hierarchical Reporting
- Hierarchically reports to the Head of Head Of P&Q, OVT and EDH streams, Italy
- Functionally reports to the EDH Product Owner, MSC Information Technology, Infrastructure & Operation, Swtzerland

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in leading / managing a team using Agile methodology, with the ability to drive continuous improvement through innovation and inspiring the team to deliver optimal results
- Ability to think strategically, establish clear direction and implement plans to be delivered within a fast-paced environment
- A degree in Computer science or equivalent
- Experience with various data projects within data warehousing and/or data lake as well as Cloud technology
- Experience with working with/managing suppliers
- Ability to be self-sufficient
- Familiarity with the effective use of tools to optimise Technology delivery team performance such as DevOps
- Fluency in Italian and English (oral and written)
- Communication skills in a global and multicultural environment
