As an **Area Business Controller**, you work close to the core of our business - Our Stores. Your main objective is to drive sales and profitability growth in your area, covering approximately 25-30 stores. In your role, you lead with vision and develop the salesmanship and profitability mindset of our store managers, area teams and support functions. Together with the Area Team you are responsible for maximizing the profit in your Area by securing the store operations, driving selling and improving the customer service offer.

**Key Responsibilities**
- _ Increase Selling:_ Together with you Area Team you ensure strong Commercial Execution in stores. You Identify and act on business opportunities to improve the performance of your area. You always follow up on your actions by using commercial KPIs.
- _ Scheduling & Staff Planning:_ You are responsible for securing the scheduling and best practice processes that effect the customer experience. Together with the store manager you define the staff level per task, day and hour to secure the right amount of resources at the right time.
- _ Securing Operations:_ You educate store teams on operational best practices and ensure that the setup of the store is optimized to deliver great customer experience and high task efficiency. Educating store managers is a key part of this process.
- _ Cost Control:_ You follow up and act on the Salary Cost development in your area. You constantly search for opportunities to optimize these. You are aware of the Shop Costs deviations and together with relevant functions you initiate corrective actions accordingly.
- _ Coaching & Training: _You educate store managers on how to identify selling opportunities and take actions to improve the customer experience. You are the profit coach within your area and secure the knowledge among all stakeholders. You train controlling talents and drive their development to secure succession within the market.

Nel tuo ruolo, guidi con visione e sviluppi la mentalità di vendita e redditività dei nostri store manager, dei team dell’area e delle funzioni di supporto. Insieme al tuo Team di area, sei responsabile di massimizzare il profitto garantendo le operazioni dei negozi, guidando le vendite e migliorando l’offerta di servizio al cliente.

**Principali Responsabilità**
- _ Aumentare le vendite:_ Insieme al tuo team dell’area, garantisci una forte esecuzione commerciale nei negozi. Identifichi e agisci sulle opportunità di business per migliorare le prestazioni della tua area. Segui sempre il risultato delle tue azioni utilizzando KPI commerciali.
- _ Pianificazione e programmazione del personale:_ Sei responsabile di garantire la programmazione e i processi di best practice che influenzano l’esperienza del cliente. Insieme agli store manager, definisci lo staff necessario sulla base di attività da svolgere per giorno e ora al fine di garantire la giusta quantità di risorse al momento giusto.
- _ Garantire le operazioni_: Formi i team dei negozi sulle best practice operative e garantisci che l’assetto del negozio sia ottimizzato per offrire una eccellente esperienza al cliente e un’alta efficienza nelle attività. Formare gli store manager è una parte fondamentale di questo processo.
- _ Controllo dei costi:_ Segui e agisci sullo sviluppo dei costi salariali nella tua area. Cerchi costantemente opportunità per ottimizzarli. Sei consapevole delle deviazioni dei costi del negozio e, insieme alle funzioni rilevanti, inizi azioni correttive di conseguenza.
- _ Coaching e formazione:_ Formi gli store manager su come identificare le opportunità di vendita e su come agire per migliorare l’esperienza del cliente. Sei il coach del profitto nella tua area e garantisci la conoscenza tra tutti gli stakeholder. Formi futuri talenti controller e guidi il loro sviluppo per garantire la successione all’interno dell’azienda nel ruolo.

**Qualifications**
- University degree/master within business or another academic field is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year working experience within retail (or similar fast-paced environment)
- You are fluent in Italian and have good communication skills (written & oral) in English
