Human Technopole (HT)
is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. Its mission is to conduct cutting-edge research and translate innovations into methodologies accessible to the entire national scientific community. As part of this mission, HT provides access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure in five key areas through the National Facilities for Structural Biology, Light Imaging, Genomics, Genome Engineering, and Data Handling & Analysis.

About Scientific Operations
The Scientific Operations organization sits at the interface between Research and Administration and drives the success of Human Technopole in areas as technology excellence, innovation, training and collaborations.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Drafts, reviews, and coordinates agreements (collaboration, NDA, CDA) ensuring compliance with institutional policies and proper documentation flow.
• Research & Management Support: Assists researchers and leadership in preparing and executing contractual documentation.
• Partnership Development: Identifies, engages, and maintains relationships with industry partners in biotech, pharma, and tech, managing a structured contact pipeline.
• Strategic Engagement: Supports senior management in defining and executing partnership initiatives, preparing materials and briefings for stakeholders.
• Network Management: Maintains and expands HT's industry network, representing the institute at external events and forums.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Tracks agreements and partnership progress, prepares regular activity reports, and documents meeting outcomes accurately.

Job Requirements
Essential requirements
On the closing date for online applications, the candidate must fulfil all the following conditions:

• Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MBA, or equivalent) in life sciences, law, business, or related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in industry partnerships, business development, or research collaboration management.
• Proven experience handling contracts (NDAs, CDAs, collaboration agreements) in a research or innovative context.
• Familiarity with biotech, pharma, and/or technology sectors and their innovation practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both administrative processes and strategic relationship building.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Requirements

• Strong understanding of contractual frameworks in research-industry collaborations.
• Excellent networking and relationship management skills.
• Ability to balance operational contract management with strategic partner engagement.
• Knowledge of Italian

Organizational And Social Skills

• Strong organizational skills for tracking agreements and maintaining pipelines.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Salary: up to € 54.000,00 depending on the candidate's seniority
