JOB TITLE: Information Security Analyst
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Regular Consultancy
UNIT/DIVISION: TECI
DUTY STATION (City, Country): HQ / Rome
DURATION: 11 Months

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Under the general supervision of the Chief TECI and the direct supervision of the Head of Cybersecurity Operations, the incumbent will assist the team with day-to-day cyber security operational support, documentation and administration. The incumbent shall provide support to the TECI's corresponding teams in carrying out activities related to monitoring for and investigating potential cyber incidents within the WFP infrastructure. The incumbent shall also be engaged in various additional aspects of the cyber-security threats analytical activities on operational level.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1.Monitor WFP environment for potential cyber incidents using available tools and telemetry, including but not limited to Microsoft security consoles, the IR platform, Cisco StealthWatch, and Threat Intel sources.
2.Provide Tier 3 analysis and assessment for potential cyber incidents as identified by WFP using available tools and telemetry.
3.Support tickets routed to TECI.

DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:

•Daily monitoring of consoles, reports made, and disseminated accordingly

•Daily monitoring for other potential threats and, in case of manual remediation, provide to local IT personnel plan of actions that need to be performed locally.

•Represent TECI with Change Management on RFC proposals related to Active Directory, IAM, Endpoint activities.

•Support analysis of suspicious emails and request appropriate remediation with TECM.

•Conduct malware analysis.

•Assess and respond to requests for non-standard access.

•Liaise with TECM/TECD/TECA on proposals of new / additional features related to hardening of WFP's cyber-security posture and infrastructure, in line with best practices, to define requirements on behalf of TECI.

•Liaise with other team members, UNICC and IT Service Desk for troubleshooting and documenting each issue related to the above.

•Provide support to OIG activities, as needed and within the roles defined above.

•Contribute to TECI outreach opportunities, including providing content for presentations / WFPgo posts / email announcements and awareness training

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education:
University degree in computer engineering or an equivalent discipline
Experience:
5 or more years of incremental experience in the areas of AD, Identity Management and/or Security and Compliance administration
Knowledge & Skills:

•Microsoft security suite support, hardening, and governance

•Security approach to the Identity Management

•Cybersecurity operations, incident response, and analysis
Languages:
English. Desirable Italian and/or any other UN official language
