Descrizione del lavoro

Per un importante progetto nel settore energia, siamo alla ricerca di un/una Senior PSCAD Expert con solida esperienza in EMT modelling e studi di rete avanzati, a supporto di attività di grid code compliance e validazione modelli.

La risorsa opererà con elevata autonomia tecnica, interfacciandosi direttamente con Cliente, TSO e OEM.

Responsabilità principali

  • Sviluppo e integrazione di modelli EMT in PSCAD, inclusa l'interfaccia con modelli RMS (PSS/E).
  • Gestione di modelli EMT di impianto integrato (PV, Wind, BESS GFL/GFM, STATCOM, elettrolizzatori).
  • Esecuzione e coordinamento di DMAT e attività di RMS–EMT benchmarking secondo requisiti di Grid Code.
  • Analisi avanzata di studi EMT: SSCI, SSTI, control interaction, auto-reclosing.
  • Supporto tecnico alla risoluzione di problematiche di stabilità, risonanze e interazioni in reti deboli.
  • Interazione tecnica con OEM, EPC, Cliente e TSO, inclusa la presentazione dei risultati di studio.

*La sede di riferimento è Milano. Richiediamo disponibilità a trasferte occasionali in Medio Oriente, in base alle esigenze di progetto.

Qualifiche

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced expertise in PSCAD, including EMT modelling, solver management and numerical debugging.
  • Senior-level knowledge of power system dynamics, including weak grids, inverter-based resources (GFL/GFM), and FACTS / STATCOM.
  • Proven capability in analysing SSCI, SSTI and control interaction phenomena.
  • Experience with RMS–EMT integration and critical interpretation of PSS/E results.
  • Ability to work on complex, multi-vendor models.

Desirable / Added Value

  • Experience with projects subject to stringent grid codes (e.g. Middle East TSOs, UK, Australia).
  • Familiarity with impedance scanning, frequency-domain analysis and series-compensated networks.
  • Ability to critically review OEM models, reports and validation documentation.
  • Working knowledge of PSS/E and effective collaboration with RMS specialists.

Soft Skills

  • High level of technical autonomy and sound decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Structured, quality-driven approach with focus on traceability and regulatory compliance.
