Join our team as the Sales Executive responsible for leading sales activities for Appliance and HVAC safety & performance certification. Influence emerging technology and forge a successful career at the center of safety science 

You will be responsible for developing new accounts in Germany and across Europe in the assigned territory/portfolio, with a primary focus on the Appliances/ HVAC sectors. The position involves selling the full suite of UL's services through proactive prospecting and direct sales to penetrate untapped markets. The role is strongly weighted 70% toward new business development ("Hunter") and 30% toward account management ("Farmer").

This role will be based in Italy or Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to aggressively acquire new accounts and achieve revenue targets.
  • Drive growth by selling services with a consultative, "hunter" approach, from prospecting and presentations to closing deals.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, focusing on high-potential clients within the appliance/HVAC sector.
  • Generate new leads through market research, networking at industry events (e.g., Chillventa, MCE, HOST), cold-calling, and referrals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and client needs to expand business penetration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure service offerings align with client requirements.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience in selling Testing, Inspection & Certification services in HVAC segment  would be nice to have.
  • Open-minded, commercial person who enjoys traveling and is eager to learn.
  • Business acumen, flexibility and ability to bring new ideas and solutions.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner and result driven personality.
  • Strong command of German and English are a must. Good level of Italian would be nice to have.
  • Available to travel to clients (75% of the time).
