SUMMARY
The Key Account Manager is a cross-functional role reporting directly to the Country Manager, responsible for ensuring that Saybolt can effectively cover operations across Italy in line with safety, industry standards, and company policies. The role focuses on enabling profitable service delivery at operational and strategic client sites, including refineries, coastal depots, terminals, ports, and other facilities where our clients maintain activities.

The Key Account Manager evaluates client requirements and market opportunities, developing operational, inspection, and quality structures that allow Saybolt to respond efficiently and sustainably. This includes coordinating personnel and resources, supporting operational execution, and implementing solutions that strengthen Saybolt's presence in both existing and new client locations.

This role may be assigned as the direct lead or responsible for such structures—whether newly created or existing—designed to meet the needs of the Italian market, as deemed necessary by the Country Manager. Team compositions may vary according to coverage requirements at each location.

Serving as a central point of coordination, the position bridges clients' operational needs with Saybolt's internal capabilities, ensuring seamless service delivery while driving business growth and operational excellence throughout Italy.

Key Account Manager must ensure full cooperation with Operations Manager, Laboratory Manager, Finance Manager, and all other managers on all assignments.

Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction
Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly.
