This role in summary

As a Budget & Reporting Intern, you will support the Budget & Reporting Manager and the team in various reporting analysis and forecast tasks related to Italy market operations environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with reporting datasets while developing your skills in Excel and financial analysis.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Contribute to month-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of Budget and quarterly forecasts in compliance with Group standards.
  • Support with recurring P&L reporting, Balance sheet and accounting reconciliations.
  • Track and monitoring commercial, financial and operational KPIs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to full cycle of financial reporting processes using SAP, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyzing financial data from a controlling perspective and maintaining updated financial databases and spreadsheets.
  • Work closely with team members to improve financial models and processes.
  • Take part in team meetings and contribute to discussions and initiatives.

Minimum requirements

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in English, Italian would be an asset
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and work with SAP tools and financial datasets.
