About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to oversee accounting and administrative activities. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical expertise with team management and process improvement. The ideal candidate has solid experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts, with the ability to coordinate a small team and ensure compliance with Italian accounting standards.

About the Role

The Administrative Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of three, managing the preparation and closing of statutory financial statements, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to interact with external stakeholders such as auditors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the administrative team (3 direct reports)
  • Supervise general and analytical accounting activities
  • Prepare and close statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian regulations
  • Oversee tax obligations and liaise with external consultants
  • Support management in financial planning and reporting
  • Implement and improve administrative processes and procedures
  • Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in administrative/accounting roles, preferably within structured SMEs
  • Strong knowledge of Italian civil and tax regulations
  • Proven experience in preparing and closing financial statements
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and problem-solving attitude
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office tools
  • Fluency in Italian; English proficiency is a plus
