Salary: $1,500 USD/month + performance based bonuses
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 10am EST to 6pm EST, Saturday from 8am to 4pm EST

We are seeking for a Sales & Client Retention Specialist which is a revenue-impacting, client-facing role and one of the most critical positions within the franchise. This individual serves as the first and most influential point of contact for both prospective and existing clients, directly influencing booking performance, client retention, and long-term relationship value.
Although the role includes scheduling and dispatch coordination, it is fundamentally sales-driven. Success in this position requires the ability to confidently convert inquiries into booked appointments, overcome objections, and guide clients toward ongoing grooming relationships rather than one-time services.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on results, takes ownership of outcomes, and views every interaction as an opportunity to build trust, loyalty, and long-term value. A genuine love for dogs and cats—paired with strong communication and persuasion skills—is essential.
Responsibilities:
Sales, Conversion & Client Commitment
Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound calls, texts, and messages from new and existing clients
Convert inquiries into booked appointments, prioritizing same-call or same-day bookings
Clearly explain services, pricing, grooming processes, and value propositions across dog and cat breeds
Identify client needs and recommend appropriate services to address stated concerns
Confidently handle objections and hesitation while reinforcing service value
Promote recurring appointments and long-term grooming relationships
Take ownership of booking outcomes, including proactive follow-up with undecided clients
Scheduling & Dispatch OptimizationSchedule grooming appointments strategically to maximize groomer productivity and daily revenue
Minimize drive time and inefficiencies while respecting routing and availability constraints
Communicate clearly with groomers regarding schedules, expectations, special instructions, and changes
Support real-time problem-solving when scheduling adjustments are required
Client Retention & ReactivationConduct post-appointment follow-up calls to confirm satisfaction and reinforce value
Proactively reach out to clients who have not rebooked to encourage repeat business
Reactivate inactive accounts through targeted outreach and relationship-building conversations
Handle service recovery situations with professionalism and a retention-first mindset
Administrative & Performance TrackingAccurately enter and maintain client and pet data in the franchise system
Document pet behavior notes, grooming requirements, client preferences, and communication history
Track booking activity, follow-ups, outcomes, and revenue impact
Run reports and maintain spreadsheets related to bookings, revenue, and client activity
Track and reconcile payments for services rendered
Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and business information
Team Collaboration & SupportWork closely with the office coordinator to:
Ensure aligned expectations and smooth appointment execution
Avoid duplication of outreach and prioritize tasks effectively
Perform additional duties as assigned to support sales and operational goals
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Customer service experience required
Scheduling and dispatch experience
Sales experience (inside sales, service-based sales, hospitality, or appointment-based industries)
Experience handling objections and closing commitments
Knowledge of dogs and cats strongly preferred
Core Competencies
