Role

We are looking for a stellar Product Owner to join our team. Reporting directly to our Founder, you will be responsible for shaping the evolution of our new mobile app. Your mission will be to listen to our students, explore their needs, track and analyse metrics and turn those insights into intuitive and impactful product experiences.

This is a hybrid role: part designer, part product owner. You will take full ownership of the product roadmap, from customer exploration and discovery to designing solutions and ensuring their execution with the tech team. If you succeed, you'll be responsible for having changed how the world learns.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead customer exploration: run interviews, surveys, and continuous feedback loops with students.
  • Translate insights into clear product hypotheses, features, and designs.
  • Design mobile-first wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that create outstanding app experiences.
  • Prioritize and manage the product roadmap, ensuring developments are guided by real user needs.
  • Conduct usability tests and measure feature success with data and qualitative feedback.
  • Champion a student-first approach, ensuring every release improves their learning journey.

Requirements

  • Be a product rockstar. Obsessed with customer feedback and fast iteration loop.
  • 2-5yrs of experience in UI/UX design and/or product management.
  • Experience in designing and improving B2C mobile apps (native or cross-platform) with proven traction in the market.
  • Strong skills in interface and interaction design (Figma or similar tools).
  • Experience with user research methods: interviews, usability testing, customer discovery.
  • Confidence with quantitative analysis. Tracking, getting insights and making decisions on data.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking (roadmap, prioritization) with hands-on design execution.

Nice to have

  • Background in consumer products (especially mobile-first).
  • Experience in startup/scaleup environments.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA).
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) to interact with developers.
