System Administrator

We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic System Administrator to fill the opened position in our Varna office.

The System Administrator will be a key part of the Adastra Bulgaria team. He / She will be responsible for technical support, maintenance, and installation of computer systems, user administration as well as support and maintenance of several company applications. The successful candidate should be technically savvy, creative at problem solving and with very good customer service skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze, support, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install computer systems, hardware, network, and network connections, security, and equipment related to computer peripherals
• User administration: manage requests for new employees, equipment, and corporate system access and provide support to offices in other locations, maintain user profiles in the Active Directory/Entra ID, working with MS Intune.
• Maintain server infrastructure both on-premise and in Cloud (Azure)
• Ensure all support work is performed to meet company and customer security standards and requirements
• Develop and write procedures for installation, use, and troubleshooting of communications hardware and software

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

• Educational background in Computer Science or related numerate
• 3+ years of experience as an IT Support specialist
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy implementation and management
• Experience with MS Entra ID and Intune implementation and management
• Experience with hardware and Windows OS (Windows 11)
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Good command of English language – both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Very good customer service support skills 

Additional Skills and Qualifications considered as an advantage: 

• Experience in managing virtual infrastructure environment based on Hyper-V
• Experience in migrating and supporting server infrastructure in Hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud)
• Experience with IPSec, ACLs and VLANs
• Experience with Cisco or FortiNet network equipment is an advantage
• Experience with CyberArk is an advantage
• Experience with SentinelOne EDR is an advantage
• Industry relevant certifications in related field (A+, MTA, MCITP, CCNA)
• ITIL hands-on is a strong advantage
• UNIX and / or Linux experience
