Job Summary & Purpose Of The Role
The EMEA Regulatory Specialist supports the needs of the Business and the ability of Univar Solutions to grow and succeed by creating a competitive advantage through the Regulatory Affairs department. This position fits into the context of an existing Global team.
Using basic regulatory knowledge, it is the first level of response to standard customer regulatory requests and inquiries without technical complexity.
Responsibilities & Duties
C
ustomers Regulatory Enquiries
- Provide timely and accurate answers to customer regulatory enquiries: documentation, questionnaire, platform
- Ensure that the EMEA Regulatory processes are followed and comply with KPI's
- Manage internal exchanges (Marketing, Sales, Shared services) and external interactions (customers, suppliers, external partners) to find a win / win solution for Univar and customers
Supplier Data Management
- Collect and approve Regulatory statements & certificates from suppliers
- Create and maintain product Regulatory sheets on Univar format if necessary
- Ensure that supplier data are uploaded or updated in VEEVA
Align With Overall Univar Goals And Requirements
- Run the business: drive Regulatory KPI's to support the business
- Change the culture: share transparent performance reports.
- Increase the Global approach opening communication and collaboration with other Regions than Europe
- Grow the business: share best practices and regulatory knowledge
Ensure a good collaboration/cooperation with Regulatory Experts
- Ask support on best practices, technical support, processes to follow and selection of contacts
- Share updates to maintain excellent communication between both groups Experts & Specialists
Qualifications & skills :
Degree in Pharmacy or in the chemical field + preferably a master specialization in Personal Care – Cosmetics
sector.
Regulatory Knowledge (European Regulations)
Experience in Regulatory or Quality matters if possible
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain in technical terms at an adequate level
Strong goal-oriented orientation
Strong motivation, desire to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness
English compulsory, another European language if possible
Ability to work in a local and international context

- Consistently present their self as a transversal partner across the various lines of the organization and works collaboratively within and outside its team to better serve the needs of customers / suppliers and exceed the expectations of end customers. It actively supports key decisions and promotes a teamwork spirit to demonstrate commitment to Univar Values.
